Run by Del and Gordon, the oldest rockers in town, Simply Music was created because were too old to work, too young to retire, and play together in a band called Simply Dead (the name matching our physical condition very well).
Why Huntingdon?
Well do you want to travel to Cambridge, Peterborough, or Bedford? Its a small town, you can find us easily, and you dont have to walk miles round the town to get to us.

Our aim in the shop is to make it friendly and informal, whilst keeping in mind the need for good professional customer service, a great range of product at competitive prices, and as much stock as we could fit in!
And by the way, if you want to play any instrument in the shop, you can do so without feeling intimidated by some smartarse owner or assistant waiting to ridicule your efforts.
We want to encourage people of all abilities to call in and try our stuff.

Yes, were the old farts that started all this.
Del, hes the handsome bald little fella with the glasses, but at least hes a musician of sorts (guitarist & vocalist). Gordon, the one with the vacant look, hell be the drummer. Well were the owners of this wonderful emporium, and hope to keep selling musical instruments and keep on gigging until we drop.
The other two, Jock McHaggis (aka Ian McGill) on guitar, and Great-Grandad Chris Tack on bass, make up the delightful Simply Dead.
We play a range of good old blues and rock to keep you jumping all night, plus even some modern stuff. Give Del a call at the shop (01480 431222) to book us, you wont be disappointed (with the music anyway).
