Diese ikonische PRS Custom 24 war das erste Modell, das Paul Reed Smith der Öffentlichkeit vorstellte auf der ersten Winter NAMM Show von PRS Guitars im Jahr 1985 und ist seitdem ein Verkaufsschlager. Der Custom 24 wird von international tourenden Künstlern, Giganten und aufstrebenden Spielern gespielt und verfügt über das patentierte Gen III-Tremolosystem von PRS und PRS 85/15-Tonabnehmer mit Lautstärke und Klangregler und ein 5-Wege-Klingenschalter. 85/15 Tonabnehmer wurden von Paul Reed Smith persönlich entworfen, um bemerkenswerte Klarheit und erweiterte Höhen und Tiefen zu bieten.
