High-Quality Pickups

H5 pickups (as designed by YGD) are renowned for their clean, open tone that works perfectly with the flexibility of the TRBX604's active/passive preamp design. Featuring a quad-polepiece design, and alnico magnet construction, these powerful pickups drive the active circuit with ease, whilst still managing to retain the sensitivity and subtlety required to pick up each and ever nuance of your playing in passive mode.

3-Band EQ

In addition to the Active/Passive switchable nature of the on-board EQ, the TRBX604 also grants you total tonal control via the Treble, Mid, and Bass Boost/Cut controls (when in Passive mode the Treble control reverts to being a master passive Tone control). Constructed using high-quality gold-plated parts on key signal chain contacts, the circuitry within the TRBX604 operates with an increased amount of conductivity and reliability than other preamps, and there's even a battery alert LED installed on the back panel, which indicates when the battery is running low on power.

Yamaha have designed the TRBX604 to offer the optimum balance between tone and comfort.
