The Godin Summit Classic CT Convertible features a sparkly Gold High Gloss finish. It has been loaded with two Seymour Duncan P-Rail pickups. Launched at the 2015 NAMM show in the States we think it is going to be a winner. It delivers vintage and modern appointments in a seriously versatile electric guitar.

With a 24 3/4 inch scale and set in neck this guitar has some vintage appointments. The Godin Summit Classic CT Convertible is no vintage guitar though. It has excellent modern twist that make it really stand out from the crowd. For a start it comes with a Spanish Cedar body. A little bit different from the usual mahogany. It also sports a carved top with Gold High Gloss finish. It has a stunning sparkle to it. Set into this is a mahogany neck. Another modern twist is the Richlite fretboard. Unlike rosewood or mahogany this is composite. It delivers tones similar to ebony but it is far more consistent. The Godin Summit Classic also has Richlite of the face of the headstock.

P-RAIL SEYMOUR DUNCAN PICKUPS AND HIGH DEFINITION REVOICER.

If you have never come across the Seymour Duncan P-Rails before then you have to check them out. It pretty much combines all the different styles of electric guitar pickups in a single design. The Godin Summit Classic CT Convertible has P-Rails in the bridge and neck positions. The Summit is capable of humbucker, P90 and Single coil tones all with the flick of a switch. You also get the excellent Godin HDR. The High Definition Revoicer is a clever bit of circuitry that re-voices the pickups. It gives the Godin Summit Classic Convertible a slight boost. It's main aim though is that it gives the pickups a more high fidelity tone. It further boosts the versatility of this instrument.
