Fleet fingered Paul Gilbert is well known in guitar circles, his shredding work in Mr Big and Racer X is second to none and he can also turn his hand to some great pop tunes!

This guitar is a made in Japan signature model that was introduced in 2009. It is a slightly more vintage looking and sounding guitar with its sunburst finish and DiMarzio Air Classic pickups. Another thing of note on this guitar is the painted F holes are 3% smaller than on other models to retain balance with the pickup rings. The guitar also features a more old school neck Tilt Joint rather than the modern All Access Neck Joint offered by Ibanez, Paul Gilbert himself claims it gives the guitar a fatter tone.
