The Yamaha Pacifica 112V combines a solid alder body, smooth satin-finished maple neck, and a versatile HSS (Humbucker-Single-Single) pickup configuration with push-pull coil-splitting. This allows beginners and advancing players to produce sparkling single-coil cleans as well as high-gain rock humbucker tones with reliable tuning stability and exceptional fretwork.

The Focus Switch is a passive push-pull circuit built into the tone knob on Yamaha Revstar Standard and Professional models. When engaged, it alters the guitar's resonant frequency response by rolling off selected top-end highs while boosting low-mids and signal output. This produces a fat, overwound humbucker tone ideal for pushing an amplifier into saturated overdrive without requiring onboard active preamp batteries.

Revstar Element (RSE20) features a solid chambered mahogany body and dry switch filter. Revstar Standard (RSS20 / RSS02T) upgrades to carbon-reinforced necks, stainless steel frets, custom Alnico V pickups (or P90s), and the passive Focus Switch boost circuit. Revstar Professional (RSP20 / RSP02T) is handcrafted in Japan by master luthiers, featuring I.R.A. (Initial Response Acceleration) treatment and an included hardshell case.

The Yamaha SA2200 is handcrafted in Japan to exacting custom-shop standards. It features figured maple body woods, a solid maple center block, an ebony fingerboard with real split-block inlays, and dual push-push coil-splittable humbuckers. Players frequently compare it favorably to the ES-335 for its tighter production tolerances, exceptional upper-fret access, and versatile coil-split tonal options.
