Two legendary tonewoods... one mesmerising instrument. A maple and mahogany build is what gives this guitar its sleek design and comfortable feel. But these tonewoods also contribute to the exhilarating tone, delivering warmth and brightness in good measure whilst projecting every note with gorgeous clarity. Taking centre stage is a maple top. It really is the ultimate wood for gigging with. Whether you're strumming or fingerpicking, maple ensures there is glistening definition, enough to separate the notes of even the most complex of chords. It is bright, loud, and offers minimal feedback, so you won't have to suffer that dreaded muddy sound. It also grants the guitar improved robustness as well as a high-end finish. Providing a resonant undercurrent of warmth are the mahogany back and sides. Mahogany balances out the bright tonal qualities of maple perfectly thanks to its focus on midrange frequencies. And it promises a lifetime of divine playing as it matures beautifully, growing more focused the more you play. Such a gorgeous guitar body also needs excellent strength and durability to be able to handle wild gigs and lengthy studio sessions. Luckily, mahogany is incredibly robust and so as well as aging with grace, its sturdiness will never tire either.
