USED - Dell Arte Tuxedo Gypsy Jazz guitar including hard case
Only five of these master-built instruments have been made by the legendary John S Kinnard (signed and numbered on soundhole sticker). The "Tuxedo", or Jacques Favino 'Black and White' model is a solid European spruce top, with smaller oval sound-hole with Indian Rosewood back and sides. Flamed maple binding adds a touch of elegance while the MoP inlay around the peghead emphases the class and retro chic stylings.
The 3-pce maple neck is comfortable and deep for full articulation and sports 21frets and a 'zero' fret to boot. An ebony bridge and Miller closed-back tuners provide tuning stability.
This pre-owned, highly unusual and entirely unique instrument is showing some signs of wear and weathering where the finish has sunk-in and from playing. Regardless of this, the 'Tuxedo' is a superlative example of Gypsy jazz guitar craftsmanship and still voices with presence and depth and establishes just the right amount of attack for the style of music it's designed for.
Slight lacquer crack near neck joint but doesn't affect structure or playability
