What is the difference between a high-end production guitar and a Custom Shop model?

High-end production guitars (such as PRS Core Custom 24 or Gibson USA Standard) utilize advanced CNC precision combined with hand-finishing in standard production runs. Custom Shop models feature lower batch volumes, hand-selected tonewoods, custom hand-wound pickups, period-accurate construction, and master luthier voicing.

Why should I avoid drop-shipped high-end electric guitars?

Drop-shipped guitars are dispatched directly from logistics warehouses without unboxing or inspection. Without a bench inspection and 5-point setup by an in-house guitar technician, you risk receiving an unplayable instrument affected by climate shifts during storage and transit.

What does MusicStreet's 5-point setup include?

Every instrument sold through MusicStreet undergoes a comprehensive 5-point bench inspection: truss rod and neck relief calibration, nut slot depth check, bridge radius and intonation alignment, pickup height and electronic circuit testing, and fretboard conditioning.

Can I try boutique and custom shop guitars in person at MusicStreet?

Yes. MusicStreet operates a showroom at 10 Chequers Court, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, where players can test premium PRS, Fender, and Gibson models through high-end amplifiers in a dedicated testing environment.

A solid acoustic foundation

The TAS3 C starts with a fully solid build: spruce on top for clarity and articulation, and mahogany for warmth, balance and a strong midrange. The concert cutaway shape keeps things comfortable while still offering plenty of projection. It feels lively and responsive straight away, giving you a confident acoustic tone even before you touch the electronics.

Second-generation TransAcoustic effects

Yamaha’s updated TransAcoustic system expands what an acoustic guitar can do. Chorus, reverb and delay resonate naturally through the guitar’s body with no amp or pedals needed. The controls are simple and intuitive, keeping you focused on playing while still letting you add depth, space and movement to your sound.

Looper and Bluetooth onboard

The TAS3 C adds a built-in looper controlled by a tap sensor, making it easy to build layers or practise lead ideas anywhere. Bluetooth audio lets you play along with tracks without extra gear. It is a compact, self-contained creative setup for writing, rehearsing and experimenting.

Modern convenience with classic Yamaha feel

A rechargeable lithium-ion battery and magnetic charging connector keep things clean and hassle free. Plug in for recording or performance, or stay fully acoustic and still enjoy the entire effects set. The TAS3 C blends dependable Yamaha build quality with powerful features that encourage constant creativity.
