Yamaha's BB 434M Bass is part of the 400 series lineup. Equipped with a Solid Alder Body, 5-piece Maple and Mahogany neck, and Rosewood fingerboard, the instrument is built to last. The two YGD V5 custom pickups provide brighter tones tailored to live gigs, while the two volume and one tone control allow for tone sculpting.

One thing that particularly stood out for us in the BB 434 was the its "Diagonal Body Thru Stringing," which allows the strings to pass through the bridge at a 45 degree angle as opposed to traditional vertically strung basses. This works to reduce the stress and effectively transfers the vibration of the strings to the body of the guitar.

There are also a host of other key features on the guitar, these include; a new thinner neck shape and lightweight tuners perfect for the new smaller body.
