The Mahogany neck joins the body at the 12th fret, and it features a round profile providing a comfortable playability. Using mahogany as the tonewood for the neck infuses the Resonator with a glorious warmth, resonance and clear highs. Topped with a rosewood fingerboard that adds further clarity to the sound, and its smooth surface will provide a comfortable and energetic playing experience. The Dobro Hound Dog Deluxe is equipped with reliable hardware including premium Grover machine heads, a spider bridge and a nickel-plated tailpiece. Grover Tuners provide precise intonation and work with the classic spider bridge – which features an ebony saddle upon maple base – to keep the guitar in tune for longer and project a full tone.
