The Seymour Duncan SPH90-1B Phat Cat Nickel Cover delivers a true P90 bridge tone in a standard-sized humbucker slot. Originally developed in the Custom Shop for Hamer Guitars, the Phat Cat is a genuine single-coil P90 Soapbar fit snugly under a humbucker cover, ideal for dropping into any humbucker-equipped guitar. Providing authentic bridge grit and growl reminiscent of vintage Soapbars, the Phat Cat perfectly recreates bright harmonics and razor sharp precision. Loaded with two Alnico 2 bar magnets, this pickup benefits from exceptional sustain whilst the metal covers provide plenty of shielding and noise reduction than standard Soapbar covers.
