In Store Purchases

Our policy states that all sales are final. If you have visited our store and tried something in person while using our service, expertise, etc., we cannot offer refunds. However, we are open to discussing exchanges in certain situations. Please reach out to us for further assistance.  It is at our discretion to whether a refund or store credit is given against the value of returned goods.

Custom order items 

Special ordered or custom built products are non-refundable, unless faulty. We can't guarantee the suitability of a special order, but we'll offer the best advice possible.

Hygiene related items for eyes, ears, nose, and mouth (such as microphones or headphones)  can't be returned if used, unless faulty within 30 days.


Order Cancellations

If you decide that you do not wish to proceed with your order prior to dispatch we must be informed in writing, preferably by email. As per the Distance and Selling Regulations Act, cancellations cannot be accepted over the phone. Your cancellation will be confirmed by email after receiving your request. Please be advised that if you do not receive an email confirmation from us within 24 hours please ring our Head Office on 01480 431 222 to confirm.

Unfortunately due to additional levies charged by courier companies this does NOT include addresses within the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland or the Channel Islands. Additional carriage charges to non-mainland and Highland addresses are clearly displayed on the delivery page prior to order confirmation and are based on the weight of your delivery.

Delivery Time 

All products listed for sale on musicstreet.co.uk are stocked at our shop or warehouse and supplied to us by the manufacturers OFFICIAL UK distributor. Our stock management system ensures that we keep certain levels of stock available at all times. On occasions due to particular demand for products we may temporarily run out of stock. We will of course alert you if any delay may occur. We do pride ourselves on dispatching most orders within the time frame detailed on the products page. For specific times please do not hesitate in calling or emailing us.

All guitars despatched by musicstreet.co.uk are given a 19 point set-up before shipping. If you require the guitar urgently, do please call ahead so that we can inform our guitar technicians beforehand. With all backorders we will notify you of estimated delivery dates and keep you constantly informed.
All non-bulky items less than 2kg are dispatched using Royal Mail 1st Class Delivery. Delivery times for these products are generally 1-3 working days from the date of dispatch. If your order has not been received 7 working days after the date of dispatch please call our warehouse on 01480 431222 and we will trace the whereabouts of your order.
All items either priced over £50 or weighing more than 2kg are shipped using our Next Working Day courier service via DPD.

Customs or Import Taxes

Packages delivered in the United Kingdom never have any customs or imports taxes. Packages delivered outside the UK, however, may incur customs or import taxes. We have no control over whether your country will charge customs or import taxes when the package reaches your country. We write on customs forms what is inside each package as well as the cost of your order. The person who receives the order is responsible for paying all costs associated with moving their package through their customs or import tax system, and we cannot make refunds to customers who do not receive shipments because they have declined to pay these costs. We recommend that you contact your local customs or import office for further information on what these charges may be before you make an order.

Returns

Defective or Incorrectly Supplied Goods 

Valid only for 30 days following date of receipt under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and a further 14 days to return the goods.
Email our Returns Department to request a Returns Form. This form must then be printed and included within the product packaging of your return. Items that are returned without prior notification cannot be refunded under this policy.

Then, return the goods in either their original packaging and enough protection to ensure safe delivery to;

For goods under 1kg we request that you use the Royal Mail Recorded Delivery service. Orders weighing over 1kg should be sent using a recommended UK courier service (DPD, Parcelforce, UPS, DHL). Please call if you require further suggestions.
Postage charges for faulty or incorrect items will be refunded up to a total of £2.00 for returns under 1kg and for £10 for returns over 1kg. Please do not use standard Post Office arranged Royal Mail Delivery for any items weighing over 1kg as we will not refund over the £2.00 limit.

Upon receipt of your returned goods you may either receive a replacement or receive a full refund back to your payment credit/debit card. This can take up to 14 days to be processed.

For Goods that you no longer wish to keep (under our 14 day returns policy as per Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014) *this excludes custom order items / items not in stock at time of purchase.

If you wish to return the goods under the 14 day hassle free returns policy, you have 14 days to notify us (Music Street) and then a further 14 days to return the goods, in its original state and packaging. 
If the goods are returned in non-original state this could affect your return rights. Email our Returns Department requesting a Product Returns Form. Items that are returned without prior notification cannot be refunded under this policy.

All return costs are to be paid for by the purchaser. We do not refund the costs to return an item that is no longer required. Once your item has been returned, Musicstreet Limited will refund your credit/debit card for the amount of the goods purchased ONLY.

For ALL items being returned from the Highlands, Northern Ireland, The Channel Islands, Isle of Man and any other areas where delivery was deemed By Water Crossing please contact Musicstreet in the first instance so that we can inform you of the delivery cost charges that will be deducted from your refund.
Please allow up to 10 working days after receipt of returned goods for the funds to appear in your account.

We (Musicstreet) reserve the right to refund your account if any of the following conditions are not met
- The goods are returned in a perfect and re-sellable condition
- All packaging and related materials are included (eg. Warranty Cards, Instructions, Polystyrene packaging)
- The goods have been adequately packaged for return (please call if you have any pre-dispatch enquiries).


The following products won’t be eligible for an exchange or refund (unless faulty or not as described):

  • Products you received over 14 days ago
  • Products without original packaging or labels
  • Products or packaging returned to us in poor condition
  • Products that contain your personal data or have been manufacturer-registered
  • Gift Cards
  • Computer software that has been opened or redeemed
  • Products which have been specially ordered or custom-built for you
  • Goods that may have come into contact with the eyes, nose, ears or mouth, such as microphones, headphones or harmonicas.
Please note that any orders which are returned outside of our returns policy will not be accepted for refund and will be returned to you.
If you wish to exercise your right to cancel your online order within the first 14 days of receipt, the risk and cost of returning the goods to us shall be accepted by you unless you have notified us that the goods have arrived damaged or faulty and this has been verified by us.

If the returned goods are returned based on the areas listed above we reserve the right to return the goods to you and recover costs of carriage.
