Frequently Asked Questions About Trading Gear
What kind of gear do you accept for trade-in? +
We accept electric guitars, acoustic guitars, bass guitars, amplifiers, and effects pedals from major brands (such as Gibson, PRS, Fender, Yamaha, Martin, Boss, Strymon, etc.). We generally do not accept keyboards, drums, or studio recording equipment unless by special arrangement.
How do you calculate the trade-in value of my gear? +
Our valuations are based on current pre-owned market trends, the brand and model popularity, overall cosmetic and functional condition, and whether original accessories (like cases, certificates, or power supplies) are included. We deduct a margin to cover our workshop servicing, warranty provision, and resale costs.
Can I trade in multiple items at once? +
Absolutely! You can trade in multiple guitars, amps, or pedals to put toward a single high-value purchase. Many customers use this as a great way to consolidate their collection and upgrade to a premium instrument.
Do you buy gear outright for cash? +
While our primary focus is on part-exchange (trading gear toward another purchase), we do occasionally buy high-quality, desirable instruments outright for cash or bank transfer. Outright purchase valuations are typically lower than trade-in valuations. Please contact us directly to discuss outright sales.

In some situations and funds permitting we will offer to buy your guitar if you don't want to part exchange, it depends on whether it is of interest to us and generally you won't receive as much as you would with a trade-in. we would still need the above ID to make the transaction.
