Tonewoods
The top, back and sides of the Nexus Venus Solar Flare are solid Indonesian Mahogany and feature an exclusive rich, sunburst-coloured top while the back and sides retain a deep, stained natural hue.
This satin finish is soft and smooth to the touch, complementing its smooth and balanced tonal palette.
The Verdict
All-Mahogany guitars have been an essential part of a guitarists tonal palette for a long time now. By using the same tonewood for the whole body, the instrument delivers a reliably linear tone and overall an instrument that loves to be played and strummed hard.
This model features black ABS body binding and is fitted with a solid Figured Ebony pickguard, a feature found on only a handful of select Faith guitars. Beautiful Macassan figured Ebony is used for the Fingerboard, Bridge and Headplate.
