G FORCE™ Tuning System

The 2015 Les Paul Standard features Gibson's innovative G FORCE™ technology, a refined version of the earlier Min-ETune™ system. This allows you to quickly and accurately tune your guitar with nothing more than a couple of button presses and a strum of the strings.

Wider Neck and Fingerboard

Gibson have widened the neck and fingerboard of the Les Paul Standard for 2015, greatly improving comfort when performing hammer-ons, pull-offs and string bends. The 2015 model also features a thicker one-piece Rosewood fingerboard, which has been expertly sanded, buffed and treated with oil for an incredibly smooth and silky feel.

Coil Tapping and 15dB Turbo Boost

The guitar's dual LP Mini Humbucker pickups have been redesigned to improve tonal balance, delivering a rounded, vintage-sounding Les Paul tone perfect for a wide range of styles. Both pickups also feature coil tapping, controlled by a push/pull volume control, which splits the humbuckers into single coil pickups. This allows you to achieve a range of crisp tones more often associated with Stratocaster or Telecaster guitars, in addition to the classic fat humbucker sound. The 15dB Turbo Boost mini-toggle acts as an onboard preamp boost, perfect for when you need a little extra output to cut through a mix.

Les Paul's 100th Anniversary

To celebrate the 100th birthday of legendary guitarist and inventor Les Paul, Gibson's 2015 models are adorned with a facsimile of his signature across the headstock. Also featured is a unique Les Paul hologram on the back of the headstock, which serves as both a badge of authenticity and a tribute to the man who started it all.
