With its custom tailpiece, standout body design and pair of P90 pickups, the Yamaha Revstar Standard RSS02T is a truly eye-catching guitar, with a sound to match!

The RSS02T is the from the latest generation of Revstar guitars and features the unique Revstar double cutaway body shape. The body is constructed with a chambered mahogany, complete with a maple top. This construction that helps two things, to reduce weight for a more comfortable playing experience, and to sculpt the tone of the guitar for a clearer, full sound. 

The body is paired with a 3-peice mahogany neck which hosts carbon reinforcement for added stability. The neck has which has a smooth satin polyurethane finish and is topped with a rosewood fingerboard with a modern 12" radius and set with 22 stainless steel jumbo frets.

Powering the Revstar Standard RSS02T is a pair of Yamaha designed VP5 P90 pickups. The pickups are wired through master volume and tone controls and a 5-way switch - the subtle phase shift on positions 2 and 4 offers a fresh take on classic in-between sounds. Yamaha's Focus Switch, accessible via a Push/Pull Tone control, activates a passive boost with an effect similar to overwound pickupsdarker highs, increased mids and lows, and an aggressive character.

Other appointments include a rock solid Tune-o-matic bridge, an eye-catching custom "racing" tailpiece, a 3-ply pickguard, and die-cast tuners.
