All Valve Circuit

The goal for this amp here was to produce classic Marshall blues and rock tones that bring back the love of the 60's. They have achieved just that using a pair of ECC83 Preamp valves and a single EL84 power amp valve pushing a single power to pretty high volumes. The 5w in this amp is easily enough to be heard in a small rehearsal with band members or to use in a studio.

Simple Controls

As this is based on the old classic 60's amplifiers you get the wonderful chime that those amps are known for. If you push it hard enough though you get some beautiful crunch that can be pushed even harder with an overdrive pedal. But how do you control all of it? Pretty simply you have a 3 band EQ with High, Mid and Low controls as well as a single master volume.

Headphone Output

Often with small amps like this you want to use them for home practice. Unfortunately even stuff like this is too loud a lot of the time when you want to play in the middle of the night. So Marshall included a headphone which can be turned on with a switch on the back, muting the inbuilt speaker at the same time. Same great tones, no annoying the neighbours.
