Fender’s Classic Series is a wide range of guitars built in Mexico in tribute to certain key periods of Fender’s history. More exclusive than standard ranges but more affordable than US built guitars, Fender Classics occupy a special place in the heart of many guitar players coming through the ranks from intermediates to professionals looking for great value vintage-themed instruments.
Stratocasters form the 70s 'CBS' era are very distinctive due to their oversized headstocks and three bolt neckplates. These details are faithfully included in this Classic series reissue. You get the 'bullet' truss road adjuster, the 'micro-tilt' feature for shifting the neck into the correct position and vintage voiced pickups.

The neck is also distinctive: it has a U-shaped profile which offers a distinct difference from the usual variation of a C-shape. All of these things ass to make a Stratocaster which is singularly different form most other models.

The natural finish is one that you don't get with many Strat models and makes this guitar even more distinct from Fender's other models. This era is becoming more and more loved by players as the years go by.
