However, unlike the 55SH the Super 55 features a superior cartridge and has a supercardioid polar pattern. This polar pattern offers greater rejection of ambient sound to focus solely on a single sound source. With an incredible resistance to feedback, the Shure microphone catches every nuance of your voice for unparalleled reproduction.
