Custom Wah Tone

Eddie Van Halen used a Holy Grail Cry Baby wah pedal which was customised in the early 90s with a more vocal-like, High Q inductor and a wider frequency sweep. When this pedal was analysed it was found to have its own signature tonal range based on the way Eddie had mainly used the mid-range of the pedal's action. This effectively carved out the resistive element in the pedal and created more mid-range definition and greater low-end sweep.

The Re-Creation

Dunlop use a hand-selected inductor with the same signature curve as Eddie's original pedal, so that the EVH95 features that same tonal response. This gives a "pre-worn" pedal to gain the same great feel and tone as what Eddie would use on stage. It is wired with a true bypass to play nicely with other pedals in your chain, and offer a pristine signal path.

Stand Out Looks

The Eddie Van Halen Wah is finished in yellow and black to pay homage to the Van Halen II album. It sounds as good as it looks and will provide you with your own signature tone and aesthetic. It features Dunlop's time-earned reputation in solid pedal design and it's rugged metal chassis is built to last underneath your feet.
