Fender Signature Guitars
Play the instruments designed by legends. Fender signature guitars are the result of close collaborations between Fender's master builders and the world's most iconic musicians. These are not standard production models with a famous name stamped on the headstock—they are highly customized, precision-engineered instruments built to meet the exact tonal, aesthetic, and playability demands of stage legends. As a premier independent dealer for Fender signature models, MusicStreet is proud to offer these exceptional creations.
Because artist-spec instruments demand precision setups, every guitar with signature specifications in our collection undergoes a rigorous professional workshop setup (worth £75) in our Huntingdon showroom to ensure its unique playability and tone are perfectly optimized before it reaches your hands.

The MusicStreet Setup Advantage: Why Your Fender Signature Deserves It
Fender signature guitars are highly specialized instruments. Because they feature unique, artist-specific modifications—such as active mid-boost circuits, custom-wound pickups, non-standard switching, and vintage-style floating tremolos—they require expert calibration to perform at their absolute best. A factory setup, while highly consistent, is rarely optimized for individual playing preferences, string gauges, or local UK humidity levels.
At MusicStreet, we treat every artist series instrument with the utmost care. We perform a **complimentary £75 professional workshop setup** on every single Fender signature guitar we sell. Our expert luthiers adjust the truss rod, file the nut slots, precision-balance the bridge saddles, set the pickup heights, test all specialized electronics, and polish the frets to ensure your new instrument plays with a comfortable, buzz-free low action straight out of the box.
🔧 Free £75 Professional Setup
Every Fender signature guitar is individually set up in our in-house workshop. We adjust the action, intonation, neck relief, and specialized electronics to match your playing style, ensuring it plays perfectly straight out of the box.
🛡️ 12-Month Warranty
We stand behind every instrument we sell. All of our Fender signature guitars come with a full 12-month warranty, giving you complete peace of mind with your purchase.
🚚 Free UK Delivery & 14-Day Returns
Get free, fully insured UK shipping on all orders over £99. If the guitar isn't the perfect fit for your hands, return it to us within 14 days for a hassle-free refund or exchange.

Frequently Asked Questions About Fender Signature Guitars
What makes a Fender signature guitar different from a standard model? +
Fender signature guitars are designed in direct collaboration with the artists themselves. They feature highly specific, non-standard modifications that the artists use on their own instruments. This includes custom neck profiles (like the Clapton soft "V"), specialized electronics (like active mid-boost circuits), custom-wound pickups (like Johnny Marr's Bare Knuckle single-coils), and unique hardware configurations that are not available on standard production models.
What is included in your £75 professional setup? +
Our expert in-house technicians perform a complete multi-point inspection. This includes adjusting the neck relief (truss rod), setting the optimal string action (height) at both the nut and bridge saddles, setting the intonation, cleaning and conditioning the fretboard, polishing the frets, checking all electronics/pots, and installing a fresh set of premium strings.
How does the active mid-boost circuit work on the Eric Clapton Stratocaster? +
The **Eric Clapton Stratocaster** features an active, battery-powered preamp circuit. The bottom tone control acts as a variable mid-boost dial. When turned up, it boosts your mid-range frequencies by up to 25dB, significantly fattening your tone and increasing output. This allows you to push your amplifier into natural overdrive, delivering thick, singing humbucker-like sustain while retaining the clarity of a single-coil pickup.
Can I trade in my old gear toward a purchase? +
Absolutely. We offer a highly competitive part-exchange program. You can bring your gear directly to our Huntingdon showroom for an on-the-spot valuation, or contact us online with photos and details to receive a preliminary trade-in estimate.
The Art of Collaboration: Why Fender Artist Models Stand Out
When an artist partners with Fender, they spend months—sometimes years—refining every single component of the instrument. From custom neck profiles carved to the exact hand-feel preferred by the artist, to bespoke pickups voiced specifically to replicate their signature studio and stage tones, these guitars offer unique specifications that you won't find on standard production models.
Investing in a Fender signature guitar connects you directly to the sounds that shaped music history, providing a highly versatile tool designed to help you unlock new creative possibilities in your own playing.

The Eric Clapton Signature Stratocaster
A modern classic. The Clapton signature strat is famous for its incredible tonal versatility. Featuring a soft "V" neck profile, vintage-style frets, and three Vintage Noiseless pickups, its secret weapon is the active mid-boost circuit. This control allows you to boost your signal by up to 25dB, transforming the sparkling single-coil chime of the Clapton signature stratocaster into a thick, growling humbucker-like voice perfect for soaring leads.
The Flea Signature Jazz Bass
Capture the raw, high-energy funk of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The Flea signature jazz bass is a meticulous recreation of Flea's beloved 1961 Shell Pink Jazz Bass. Featuring a beautiful Road Worn nitrocellulose lacquer finish, a comfortable "C"-shaped neck, and dual Pure Vintage '64 single-coil pickups, it delivers the growling midrange, punchy low end, and articulate treble that defined modern funk-rock bass playing.
The Johnny Marr & Kurt Cobain Jaguars
For alternative and indie rock enthusiasts, Fender's offset signature models are legendary. The Johnny Marr Jaguar features custom Bare Knuckle pickups and a simplified 4-way switching system for pristine clarity, while the Kurt Cobain Jaguar features dual high-output DiMarzio humbuckers for raw, aggressive grunge power and feedback-resistant sustain.

5. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Are signature guitars only for fans of that specific artist?
Not at all! While they are fantastic tributes, signature guitars are highly spec'd instruments in their own right. Many players choose them purely for their unique pickup configurations, custom neck shapes, or aesthetic modifications (like Flea's Shell Pink finish or Clapton's active mid-boost) that aren't available on standard models.
What is the difference between Fender Artist and Custom Shop Signature models?
Fender Artist models are manufactured in Fender's high-quality production facilities in Corona, California, or Ensenada, Mexico, offering the exact artist-designed specifications at an accessible price point. Custom Shop Signature models are handcrafted by master builders in Corona, utilizing premium heirloom-grade woods and meticulous hand-finishing for the ultimate in luxury and exclusivity.
Does my signature guitar come set up?
Yes. Every guitar purchased from MusicStreet receives a professional, custom setup in our in-house workshop before dispatch. If you have specific preferences for string gauge or tuning, simply let us know when placing your order, and our techs will configure it to your exact specifications.
Can I try these guitars in person?
Absolutely. We welcome you to visit our independent showroom at 10 Chequers Court, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. You can get hands-on with our collection, test them through premium amplifiers, and get honest, expert advice from our team of working musicians.
