Maton Masterbuilt L.E. May Limited edition

Limited edition celebrating Vera May’s anniversary with AP5 Pro system and unique design.

The Maton Masterbuild L.E. May is a limited edition model released to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Vera May, the wife of Maton’s founder. The guitar combines traditional craftsmanship with a unique design. The solid Engelmann spruce top and aged maple neck deliver excellent sound quality, while the AP5 Pro system ensures great amplification.

The soundboard is carefully selected and thicknessed European Spruce and the back and sides are figured Victorian Blackwood. The body is bound with Satin Box outer binding and BWB inner binding, and a sound-hole that features a timber rosette, perfectly complementing the rest of the guitar.
The European Spruce soundboard is braced with European Spruce and has a Maple bridge plate. The bracing is “A” shaped for maximum performance and scalloped to achieve the exact tonal response and deflection we are looking for.
The guitar has a gloss finish and is stained to bring out the best in the figure of the body and neck, and comes with an AP5 PRO pickup system and gold Ratio open-back tuners.
