Strapped with a Bigsby vibrato and high-output Kent Armstrong pickups, the Excel 175 is an archtop built for modern rock. Its fully-hollow 16-inch-wide body is perfectly balanced and pours out robust tone. The 175 is paired with a stunning chrome Bigsby, allowing for classy shimmers and warped bends -- all while its roller bridge guarantees stable tuning. Exceptionally crafted, the Excel 175 joins the ranks of legendary vibrato-equipped archtops.
D'Angelico Excel Series guitars are strapped with Kent Armstrong Vintage 57 humbuckers for natural, organic tone.
Grover Imperial Super-Rotomatic tuners boast an exceptionally smooth turning radius, allowing for supreme tuning accuracy and keeping you in tune longer.
No matter the player, no matter the hands, a slim C-shape neck makes for supreme playability free of wrist-ache.
