The Lowden Commemorative Collection S-50 Limited Edition is a remarkable guitar crafted to celebrate George Lowden's 70th birthday. Limited to just 70 pieces worldwide, this guitar features master-grade Koa for the back and sides, paired with a master-grade Adirondack spruce soundboard. Each instrument is meticulously constructed, offering a blend of superior craftsmanship and exquisite materials.
The neck is a 5-piece combination of mahogany and rosewood, providing stability and a beautiful tonal balance. The fingerboard is made of ebony with maple bindings, and it includes a custom "LXX" inlay at the 12th fret, a special touch designed by Pearl Works to commemorate the anniversary. The guitar is also equipped with Gotoh Gold 510 tuners with ebony buttons, ensuring precise tuning and smooth operation.
Every guitar in this limited edition series features a bespoke commemorative internal label, numbered and signed by George Lowden, along with unique provenance documentation.
