You are probably already familiar with Martin 00 guitars, which by all counts are amazing guitars, well, Martin decided to take it up a notch with the Custom Shop 00-42. To begin with they upgrade the top to Adirondack spruce and the back and sides to Madagascar rosewood. Adirondack spruce is known for having an aged sound that requires less time to "break in". These two woods combine to create a rich, full, detailed sound. The internal scalloped bracing was even upgraded to Adirondack spruce.
