The ESP LTD Special Edition EC-1000K Koa is a unique twist on the ever-popular EC-1000. By putting a koa veneer on its mahogany body, ESP LTD have added a brightness to the EC-1000K's tone that will cut through the mix. It won't sound harsh, however, thanks to a pair of warm Seymour Duncan pickups: a Custom 5 in the neck and a Jazz in the bridge.
The comfy set thru neck is a 5-piece maple/bubinga with an ebony fingerboard and ESP LTD flag inlays. The 24 XJ frets lend themselves well to bends. If you're looking for a guitar that will handle metal, jazz and blues with a unique look, the ESP LTD EC-1000K is the one for you. Available in strictly limited quantities.
