The Yamaha FS5G Red Label Acoustic Guitar has been developed from the ground up to evoke the spirit of Yamaha’s first production acoustic guitars - the FG series. This small bodied Concert model is beautifully made in Japan, using high quality solid woods and hardware. It features a new scalloped bracing pattern and Yamaha’s Acoustic Resonance Enhancement treatment, resulting in a mature, warm tone. Supplied in a Yamaha Hardshell Case.

Inspired by Yamaha’s iconic 'red label' guitars of the 1960s, the FG Red Label acoustic guitars blend modern inspiration with a timeless design. Featuring a classic gloss finish, high-quality components and Japanese craftsmanship, FG Red Label guitars capture an authentic vintage aesthetic.

The mahogany back and sides are paired with a premium Sitka spruce top which has been treated with Yamaha’s Acoustic Resonance Enhancement ('ARE') process for genuine aged-wood tone and sustain. A new scalloped-bracing design delivers plenty of volume and a natural, balanced acoustic tone.
